I have loved the mcu from the beginning. The ambition and scope was a massive gamble that has paid off on the most part. Each film added to the overall story arc to get us to the endgame. So my main question is this. Why did we need another 2 hours of build up before we got to the bones of the film. The time travel stuff was boring and predictable and went on far to long. Yes some scenes where clever like the 2 caps but to many misses and not enough hits during that sequence. Then there was thor the washout which was funny for about 2 minutes but should have been nipped in the bud far earlier in the film. So all these parts got us to the point where hulk was able to click his fingers and reverse what thanos had done. My main problem with this part of the film was that there was no proper explanation what happened to everyone for 5 years. Surely they could have put a scene in which was a reverse of the opening bit where Mrs Barton and the kids disappeared but instead they reappear to see Clint had gone. Also who has a phone that is still charged after 5 years. The last point was one of many continuity errors in the film such as nebula shooting herself meaning she should cease to exist seeing as her past self has died. Maybe I am being hypercritocal but it's certainly not a perfect film and has its flaws including pacing and lack of action but if this is the end o feel robbed.
